RASUWA: Two pilgrims went missing on Sunday while taking a ritual bath at the sacred pilgrimage site of Gosaikunda.

According to District Police Chief Hem Bahadur Shahi, the missing individuals have been identified as approximately 28-year-old Sujan Dhakal from Biratnagar, Morang, and Manoj Neupane from Belbari, Morang.

It is suspected that they may have drowned after entering a deep section of the lake for bathing.

In response, personnel from the Nepal Army’s Shreenath Battalion, Nepal Police, and Armed Police Force were deployed to Gosaikunda on Sunday itself to search for the missing individuals.
