ACHHAM:Two teenage girls were found dead, hanging from a tree in the Salleri forest of Turmakhand Rural Municipality-6, Achham, on Thursday morning.

According to the Achham District Police Office, the girls, aged 15 and 17, were both residents of the same ward.

Locals discovered their bodies around 9 AM on Thursday in a forest approximately 400 meters from their homes.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Om Prakash Khanal of the Achham District Police Office stated that the girls had been missing since September 2.

Police are currently conducting a further investigation into the incident.
