Women voters outnumber men in Tanahun

DAMAULI: Tanahun district has a total of 254,397 voters for the election to the House of Representatives (HoR) scheduled for March 5.

According to the District Election Office, Tanahun, women voters are more compared to the men voters in the district. The Office shared that the number of men voters is 123,491 and the women voters are 130,906.

District Election Officer Bikas Lamsal said that Vyas Municipality has the highest number of voters and Devghat Rural Municipality has the lowest number in the district.

He said there are 136,118 voters in constituency no. 1 and 118,279 voters in constituency no. 2 in Tanahun district.

Lamsal stated that 309 voting centres have been managed in the district.

The Election Commission had collected the voters’ names from September 26 to Novemebr 21, 2025 by targeting the upcoming election to the House of Representatives scheduled for March 5.
