KATHMANDU: Following the arson that destroyed the Supreme Court building during the Gen Z protest on September 9, the court’s services, which had been halted since then, are set to partially resume from today.

A full court meeting held on Sunday had decided to begin registering writ petitions starting today.

Until now, only habeas corpus petitions and urgent applications were being registered and heard.

After the Supreme Court building was set on fire during the Gen Z movement, regular services such as writ registration, case filing, and hearings had remained suspended.
