KATHMANDU: WorldLink has announced the shutdown of social media platforms that are not registered in Nepal.

On Friday morning, WorldLink issued a notice stating that the platforms were blocked in accordance with the directives issued by the Nepal Telecommunications Authority, the Supreme Court order, the decision of the Council of Ministers, and the Social Media Use Regulation.
