HUMLA:  Purna Bahadur Rawat, 39, of Barekot Rural Municipality-4 in Jajarkot district, has been missing for a week. He went missing while searching for medicinal herbs in Tankelek, on the border of Humla and Mugu districts.

Three people along with Rawat were detained by officials of the Forest Users’ Committee while they were searching for herbs and went out at night to the toilet but did not return.

The missing person disappeared towards Mugu, said Ward Chair of Chankheli Rural Municipality-5, Harka Tamang.

The District Police Office, Humla, has confirmed of receiving a missing complaint from the relatives at the Piplang Police Station on Saturday. A search has been initiated.
