Aftab Alam’s health improving after stroke, says Annapurna Neuro Hospital

KATHMANDU: Former minister Mohammad Aftab Alam, who was hospitalized following a stroke, is showing signs of gradual improvement, according to Annapurna Neuro Hospital.

In an official statement, the hospital confirmed through preliminary examinations and MRI scans that Alam had suffered an acute ischemic stroke.

He is currently being treated in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

The hospital administration stated that his condition has been steadily improving and he remains under the close supervision of specialist doctors in the ICU.

The hospital has also urged all well-wishers and members of the media to rely solely on the hospital’s official statements for accurate and verified information.
