KATHMANDU: A multi-party meeting has commenced at the President’s Office under the invitation of President Ramchandra Paudel.
Prime Minister Sushila Karki, along with all government ministers and second-tier leaders of political parties, is participating in the meeting.
From the Nepali Congress, Vice-Chairman Purna Bahadur Khadka and General Secretary Gagan Thapa are attending.
The UML delegation includes Senior Vice-President Ishwar Pokharel and General Secretary Shankar Pokharel, while the Maoist Centre is represented by Senior Vice-Chair Narayankaji Shrestha and Deputy General Secretary Barshaman Pun.
Other participants include Acting President of the Rastriya Swatantra Party DP Aryal and Joint General Secretary Bipin Kumar Acharya; Gyanendra Shahi and Mina Lama from Rastriya Prajatantra Party; Vice-Chair Rajendra Pandey and General Secretary Ghanshyam Bhusal from CPN (Unified Socialist).
Additional party representatives include Dr. Jayakant Raut from Janamat Party, Renu Yadav from Janata Samajbadi Party, Gyanendra Jha and Sarbendranath Shukla from Loktantrik Samajbadi Party, Sunil Prajapati from Nepal Majdoor Kisan Party, and Resham Chaudhary from the Nagrik Unmukti Party.
