BAGLUNG:  A total of 193,381 voters were registered in the district of Baglung for the forthcoming March 5 House of Representatives (HoR) elections.

According to the District Election Office, the number of women voters is 98,574 and the number of men voters is 94,806.

Chief of District Election Office, Yagya Prasad Rijal, said that the updated voter’s namelist has the largest portion of voters from the age group of 16 to 28.

Rijal added that the number of voters in the district increased by 5,253 for this poll compared to the last election.

The number of youth is impressive among the new voters, it is said.

According to Rijal, a total of 100 voters of other districts registered their names from the District Election Office, Baglung.
