KATHMANDU: Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor Balen Shah has expressed his support for the Gen-Z movement, paying tribute to the participating youths and the brave martyrs.

Shortly after the appointment of Prime Minister Sushila Karki, Balen wrote on Facebook, “Dear Gen-Z, the nation has changed because of your contribution and sacrifice. Heartfelt tribute to the brave martyrs.

Your contribution is priceless and will always guide future generations with patriotism and a sense of duty. Infinite respect to you all. I also wish the injured a speedy recovery.”

Earlier on Friday evening, former Chief Justice Sushila Karki was sworn in as Prime Minister, and soon after, she recommended the dissolution of Parliament.
