KATHMANDU: Former Uttarakhand Chief Minister, ex-Governor of Maharashtra, and senior BJP leader Bhagat Singh Koshiyari met with Nepal’s Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak in Kathmandu this morning.
During the meeting, Minister Lekhak expressed his condolences over the recent brutal and terrorist attacks in Kashmir, condemning the violence and extending solidarity with the victims.
He also reaffirmed Nepal’s commitment to ensuring that its territory will not be used against its neighboring countries, highlighting Nepal’s dedication to regional peace and security.
The discussion also focused on strengthening bilateral relations between Nepal and India. Both leaders shared their optimism for deepening cooperation and building stronger ties through mutual understanding and respect.
Koshiyari, who is currently in Kathmandu for a goodwill visit, appreciated Nepal’s commitment to fostering good neighborly relations.
