KATHMANDU: The scheduled oath-taking ceremony of the newly appointed State Minister for Energy has been postponed.

The cabinet meeting, which was also supposed to take place today, has likewise been halted. The government had appointed Kham Bahadur Garbuja of the Nepali Congress as the State Minister for Energy yesterday.

While the swearing-in was scheduled for 10 AM today, a notice of postponement was issued. The cabinet meeting scheduled for the same time has also been postponed until further notice. The reason for the postponement has not been disclosed .
