KATHMANDU: Chairperson of the CPN (Unified Socialist), Madhav Kumar Nepal, has urged the government to take all necessary measures for the promotion and protection of Nepal’s sovereignty and territory.
Issuing a press statement on the occasion of the fourth establishment day of the party here today, Nepal called for exerting a collective pressure for safeguarding the country’s sovereignty. He also called on the neighbouring nations to recognize Nepal’s territorial dignity.
As he claimed, the party was established with the major goal of amplifying the communist movement for ensuring political and social rights of peasants and the suppressed groups. He extended best wishes to the entire party line, supporters and well-wishers on the occasion of the party’s fourth establishment day.
According to him, sovereignty, the promotion of democratic rights, and the improvement of people’s livelihoods are the major agendas of the party, which prioritizes democracy and social justice as its core principles.
The party aims to build an equitable society that frees all from all forms of exploitation. The Unified Socialist is committed to institutionalizing the rights of marginalized and suppressed communities, he reminded, calling for greater unity within the communist movement by addressing the deviations currently surfaced in the party.
