MORANG: Central Chairman of the Janata Samajbadi Party Nepal, Upendra Yadav, has said interim government requires managing a robust security to make the March 5 election successful.
Addressing a party programme here Sunday, Chairman Yadav argued election would not be successful in absence of political participation. So, government’s dialogue with political parties is imperative, he underlined.
In his opinion, political stability could be ensured once the system of directly elected President was adopted with the correction in form of governance. The misgovernance of the previous government resulted in Gen-Z protest that toppled it in two days. Poverty was another contribution of the previous government, he added.
Co-Chair of the party, Rakam Chemjong, said recent protest has attacked the corruption. The achievement of the Gen-Z protest should be institutionalized, according to him.
Province Chairman of Party in Koshi Province, Dipak Yakhya, and other leaders also spoke on the party activities and recent protest during the programme.
