KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli held a meeting with top leaders of the ruling Nepali Congress at his official residence in Baluwatar on Sunday.
The talks included CPN-UML Senior Vice-Chair Ishwar Pokharel and Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Poudel from UML side.
From the Congress side, party president Sher Bahadur Deuba, Vice President Purna Bahadur Khadka, Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak, Agriculture Minister Ram Nath Adhikari and Foreign Minister Dr. Arzu Rana participated.
The meeting gains significance amid growing controversy over allegations that immigration officials at Tribhuvan International Airport have been charging fees from outbound travelers on visit visas.
Home Minister Lekhak has been linked to the issue, prompting calls for his resignation.
