KATHMANDU: The court has granted permission to keep Rabindra Mishra and 25 others in custody for an additional 5 days.
District Judge Khem Raj Bhatta’s bench allowed the police to continue the investigation while keeping Mishra, who has already been in custody for 47 days, for another 5 days.
Earlier today, Mishra’s wife Sarika Thapa had filed a habeas corpus petition at the Supreme Court demanding his immediate release. The case has been scheduled for hearing for tomorrow (Wednesday).
