KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sushila Karki held discussions today with representatives of the Gen Z group at the Office of the President, focusing on the current political situation, the group’s demands, and the upcoming elections.
The meeting, convened at the request of President Ramchandra Paudel, was attended by Prime Minister Karki, cabinet ministers, and Gen Z representatives including Sudan Gurung, Prabesh Dahal, and Miraj Dhungana.
During the talks, Gen Z representatives presented their views on issues such as good governance and constitutional amendment.
A day earlier, leaders of political parties represented in the dissolved House of Representatives had also held discussions at the President’s Office centered on the forthcoming elections.
This is the first official dialogue between Gen Z representatives and the President’s Office since the youth-led movement began.
