The Election Commission is set to examine and determine the authenticity of the two factions of Janata Samajbadi Party-Nepal today.

The EC has summoned the executive members of the party for their headcount to give a verdict on the authenticity.

Earlier, the EC had invited the chairpersons — UpendraYadav and Mahatha Thakur — of both factions of the party and the executive members to be present at the office and produce their identity cards.

For this purpose, both sides are being summoned before EC today. The JSP has 51 executive committee members.
