KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sushila Karki has confirmed that the House of Representatives election, scheduled for March 05, will be held across the country on the same day.

In recent days, reports had emerged suggesting the possibility of a phased election in Himalayan regions due to seasonal and weather-related challenges. The speculation followed remarks made by Prime Minister Karki during a public event, where she had indicated that weather conditions could affect polling in mountainous areas.
