KATHMANDU: The government, political parties, and Gen Z representatives have launched their first-ever tripartite dialogue at the Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar.
Convened at the invitation of Prime Minister Sushila Karki, the discussions aim to create a conducive environment ahead of the upcoming elections.
Gen Z participants include Monika Niraula, Raksha Bam, Purushottam Yadav, Samana Lawati, Khemraj Saud, Uparjun Chamling, Bhojbikram Thapa, Miraj Dhungana, Bibek Dahal, James Karki, Rehanraj Dangol, Amit Khanal, and Rajan Ranamagar.
Political party leaders attending the dialogue include Narayankaji Shrestha, Barshman Pun, and Madhav Sapkota from CPN (Maoist Centre); Prakash Adhikari from Janata Samajwadi Party-Nepal; Deepak Karki from Janata Samajwadi Party; Prakash Jwala and Rajendra Pandey from CPN (Unified Socialist); Mohan Shrestha and Rajendra Gurung from Rastriya Prajatantra Party; Nisha Dangi and Swarnim Wagle from Rastriya Swatantra Party; Mahesh Bartaula and Kshitiz Thebe from CPN (UML); and Prakashsharan Mahat from Nepali Congress.
Representing the government are Prime Minister Sushila Karki, Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal, Law Minister Anil Sinha, Education Minister Mahabir Pun, and Communications Minister Jagadish Kharel.
