KATHMANDU: Protesters from the Gen Z movement vandalized the residence of former Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand in Tilottama, Rupandehi.

“The house’s gate and window panes have been damaged,” said Rupandehi Police Chief, SP Pradeep Bahadur Kshetri.

He added that police dispersed the group that had reached Khand’s house.

Authorities have imposed a curfew in Rupandehi following the incident.

The Gen Z protests, which began on Sunday morning, have now spread nationwide.

In Kathmandu, at least 14 people have already been killed in police firing during the demonstrations.
