KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress General Secretary Gagan Kumar Thapa has proposed holding the party’s general convention from December 31, 2025 to January 3, 2026.

He put forward the proposal during the ongoing Central Committee meeting of the party.

A central committee member attending the meeting stated that Thapa made the proposal at the beginning of the session, suggesting the 15th general convention be conducted between December 31, 2025 to January 3, 2026.
