POKHARA: The Gandaki provincial government has advised the provincial chief to call the budget session of the provincial assembly on May 25.

Minister for Economic Affairs and government spokesperson Takraj Gurung said the Council of Ministers decided to recommend the date and timing for the session.

The session will focus on presenting and discussing the policies, programs, and budget for the next fiscal year.

The previous assembly session ended on March 23 after running for almost two months.
