Garbuja sworn in as Minister of State for Energy

KATHMANDU: Kham Bahadur Garbuja, the newly appointed Minister of State for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, took his oath of office and secrecy before Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on Sunday.

The oath-taking ceremony was held at the Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar, where Minister Garbuja formally assumed his duties.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Urban Development Prakash Man Singh, Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak, other ministers, and high-ranking officials of the Government of Nepal were also present at the event.

President Ram Chandra Paudel had appointed Garbuja as minister of state on Baisakh 17 upon the recommendation of Prime Minister Oli.
