KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that the government smoothly removed the ‘Take and Pay’ system from the budget only after Congress requested it.
Speaking to journalists on Friday in Bharatpur, Chitwan, Deuba also noted that occasional misunderstandings with the UML are normal.
Although the parties share power in the ruling coalition, disagreements occur because UML is a different party, he explained.
“Since UML is a different party, sometimes disagreements occur; this is natural,” Deuba said, adding that the government is moving forward based on mutual consensus.
