TULSIPUR: Rewati Gurung from Devdaha Municipality-5 of Rupandehi has been nominated as a member of the Lumbini Province Assembly. The post for the member of the Province Assembly was lying vacant after member Sarita Pun representing CPN UML passed away.

Speaker Tularam Ghartimagar administered the oath of office and secrecy to Gurung, who is elected as a member of the Province Assembly under the proportional election.

Gurung was elected to the post as per Province Assembly Election Act, 2074 and the proportional election held on November 20, 2022. With her administration to the post, the Province Assembly got a full shape of 87 members.
