KATHMANDU: The Supreme Court is set to commence hearings today on 16 writ petitions challenging the dissolution of the House of Representatives.
According to Supreme Court spokesperson Arjun Prasad Koirala, the preliminary hearing will take place on petitions demanding the annulment of the Prime Minister’s appointment and the dissolution of Parliament, as well as the reinstatement of the House.
The petitions seek the issuance of writs of certiorari and mandamus in connection with these constitutional issues.
