KATHMANDU: Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal on Saturday visited police stations in Bouddha and Sankhu in the Kathmandu Valley that were damaged during the Gen-Z protest on September 9.
Home Minister Aryal inspected the police offices and took stock of the police personnel’s activities as well as the law and order situation in the sites.
On the occasion, Home Minister Aryal directed the Nepal Police to work with high morale to ensure law and order in the country and to control crimes.
Saying that the Nepal Police received massive support from the citizens in the reconstruction of those damaged properties, he asked the Nepal Police to work for the promotion of good governance along with maintaining the peaceful environment.
Additional Inspector General of Nepal Police Ishwar Karki and Chief of District Police Range Kathmandu and SSP Ramesh Thapa accompanied the Home Minister in the inspection visit.
