KATHMANDU: Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak is scheduled to speak in today’s session of Parliament to respond to all the issues raised regarding the visit visa controversy.

However, there are indications that the opposition may obstruct his address. According to UML Chief Whip Mahesh Bartaula, a meeting held earlier today at Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s official residence in Baluwatar discussed the matter in detail and decided to take a firm stance in the House.

“The Home Minister is set to speak today to address all concerns, but we will decide our move based on how the government presents its position,” Bartaula told Nepal News.

The meeting was attended by Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba, Vice President Purna Bahadur Khadka, Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak, and Nepali Congress Chief Whip Shyam Ghimire.
