KATHMANDU: The Economic Procedures and Fiscal Responsibility (First Amendment) Ordinance, 2081 has been approved by the House of Representatives. The ordinance was approved by a majority in the House of Representatives meeting held on Wednesday.

Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RSP) MP Swarnim Wagle had moved a motion to reject the ordinance. The motion was rejected by a majority, and the ordinance was approved.

Earlier today, the Ordinance to amend some Nepal Acts related to the promotion of good governance and public service delivery, 2081, was approved in the House of Representatives.
