SIRAHA: Minister for Finance Rameshore Khanal has said the House of Representatives (HoR) elections announced for upcoming March 5 would be held in the stipulated date.
At the land transfer and felicitation programme of the Lahan-based Ramkumar Sharada Uma Prasad Murarka Provincial Hospital, Minister Khanal expressed the government’s readiness to conduct the elections in the designated time.
“The government has created atmosphere for elections. I urge the general public not to get baffled by any rumour and misinformation to this effect,” Khanal added.
The incumbent government is founded following the Gen Z uprising, he said, adding that its prime responsibility is to hold the election.
He expressed the confidence that the country’s economy would be gradually reverted after the election.
On the occasion he informed that registration of the hospital’s land that was held up for the past 47 years has completed.
The government formed after the Gen Z movement has addressed the aspiration of donor Murarka and Sharada family by exempting gain tax of Rs 12.4 million, Khanal shared.
Also present on the occasion were Minister for Youth and Sports Bablu Gupta, Chief Minister of the Madhesh Province Krishna Prasad Yadav, representatives of the donor family, industrialists and businesspersons and office-bearers of hospital management.
