KATHMANDU: The meeting of the House of Representatives, which began about one and a half hours later than the scheduled time, was adjourned shortly after it started.

As soon as meeting commenced, opposition lawmakers stood from their seats in protest, preventing the session from proceeding with its regular agenda. Consequently, Speaker Dev Raj Ghimire postponed the session for half an hour.

Earlier, on Sunday, the opposition had also obstructed the session right after it began, leading to the House of Representatives meeting being postponed until 2 PM on Monday.
