KATHMANDU: The meeting of the Federal Parliament, the House of Representatives, is being held at 1:00 pm today at the Federal Parliament Building, New Baneshwor.

In today’s meeting, Minister for Education, Science and Technology Raghuji Pant will present a proposal to consider the ‘Tilganga Eye University Bill, 2081, which originated in the National Assembly’.

The bill was registered in the National Assembly on 2081 Ashar 4. The National Assembly passed the bill on 2081 Chaitra 4.

This bill is related to ‘establishing and operating a university as an academic center of excellence in the field of eye health by conducting study, teaching and research in the field of eye health education, providing health services including specialist services, and developing and expanding the latest technology’.
