KATHMANDU: The meeting of the Federal Parliament, the House of Representatives, is being held at the Federal Parliament Building, New Baneshwor, today at 1:00 PM.

In today’s meeting, Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies Damodar Bhandari is likely to present a proposal to consider the ‘Industrial Property Bill, 2082’.

The agenda of the meeting includes Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel presenting a proposal to consider the amendments made by the National Assembly to the Finance Bill, 2080.

Meetings of the International Relations and Tourism Committee, Agriculture, Cooperatives and Natural Resources Committee, Legislative Management Committee, and Public Policy and Delegated Legislation Committee are being held today.

The International Relations Committee has an agenda to hold a contemporary discussion on the ‘current status, progress and challenges of the Lumbini Development Fund’. The Agriculture, Cooperatives and Natural Resources Committee will hold a clause-wise discussion on the ‘Bill to amend certain Nepal Acts relating to land, 2082’.

The Legislative Management Committee will discuss the draft report of the ‘Water Resources Bill, 2081’. Similarly, the Public Policy and Delegated Legislation Committee has an agenda to discuss the ‘Report Related to National Parks’.
