KATHMANDU: Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Nepal is going to add more central office bearers and executive committee members.

The party’s Central Committee meeting has amended Article 29, Clause 3 of the party’s Statute 2080 to add more office bearers and executive members, informed Purna Basnet, Head of the party’s Publicity and Publication Department.

According to him, the office bearers and executive members are going to be added based on caste, community and gender inclusiveness, and according to the revised statute, JSP Nepal will add two more vice-chairmen and one general secretary and 11 central executive members.

Basnet said that according to Clause 3 of the amended Article 29, the Central Executive Committee will be formed with the Federal Council Chairperson, Central Committee Chairperson, Senior Leader, Co-Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson, General Secretary, Deputy General Secretary, Secretary, Treasurer and 21 members elected from the Central Committee.
