KATHMANDU: Ishwor Pokharel, contender for the post of UML Chairperson in the 11th National Congress, has suggested the newly elected leadership that it ran the party in a right and democratic way as per the collective leadership, rule and system.

Giving his initial reaction to re-election of KP Sharma Oli as UML Chairperson, outgoing Senior Vice-Chairperson Pokharel reminded the debate raised in the National Congress- the party should be run as per the principle of checks and balance, and people’s multi-party democracy. It must be continued, he added.

Leader Pokharel congratulated all elected ones, extending best wishes. He informed he would remain firm in the democratic movement and socialism despite defeat in the election.
