KATHMANDU: The CPN (Maoist Centre) has called a meeting of its Central Committee to make a decision regarding a possible merger with the CPN (Unified Socialist).

A Secretariat meeting held at Paris Danda decided to convene the Central Committee meeting.

One official of the party said the meeting has been scheduled for November 3. He added that the venue for the meeting is still being finalized.

The official also claimed that the merger with the Unified Socialist is planned for November 4.
