KATHMANDU: CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal held a meeting and discussed about the country’s contemporary political situation.
During the meeting held in Singha Durbar on Tuesday, discussions focused on polarization of communist forces, review of budget, country’s political developments and ending parliamentary deadlock.
CPN (Maoist Centre) leaders Narayankaji Shrestha, Dev Gurung and CPN (US) leaders Rajendra Pandey, Ghanshyam Bhusal and Beduram Bhusal were present at the meeting.
CPN (US) leader Damodar Aryal said that efforts for unification of communist forces, international political situation, the visit VISA scam and performance of the incumbent government were also discussed.
According to Aryal, possibilities of unification of CPN (Maoist Centre) and CPN (US), the ideological bases and the procedures were also reviewed.
