KATHMANDU: The CPN (Maoist Centre) has decided to construct a new and grand central office after its Koteshwor Paris Danda headquarters was heavily damaged in an arson attack by Gen-Z protesters on September 9.
Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ inspected the party office on Tuesday, a week after the incident.
He confirmed that while large portions of the building, including the workers’ and YCL sections, were destroyed, some crucial materials were saved.
“The arson caused severe losses to the office. But our party minutes survived, and the library and several computers remained intact. I want to thank all comrades and staff who played a role in protecting them,” he said.
