KATHMANDU: Minister for Energy, Water Resources, and Irrigation Kulman Ghising has clarified that there has been no discussion about his involvement in any political party.

Minister Ghising expressed serious concern over media reports and social media posts linking him to the Ujyaloo Nepal Party and claiming he was being made its chairperson.

“As mentioned in some reports, there has been no discussion whatsoever regarding my involvement with that party,” he said.

“I would also like to clarify that I did not take part in any ‘Zoom’ meeting as claimed,” he added.

He further stated, “Without any consultation or discussion with me, false and baseless information has been spread with malicious intent. I strongly refute such claims and urge everyone not to be misled by such rumors.”
