KATHMANDU: The government has made public the decisions of its Cabinet meeting held on August 30.

Government spokesperson and Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Prithvi Subba Gurung, announced the decisions on Monday.

The Cabinet decided to appoint Justice Munendra Prasad Awasthi of the Tulsipur High Court, Nepalgunj bench, as a member and Chairperson of the Revenue Tribunal, Nepalgunj.

In addition, the government approved 58 temporary posts at officer level for the fiscal year 2025/26 for the Truth and Reconciliation Commission and the Commission of Investigation on Enforced Disappearances.
