Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies Gajendra Bahadur Hamal has resigned after the dispute. On Sunday morning, Hamal reached the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar and submitted his resignation letter.

According to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat, Hamal has returned with a letter of resignation.

He has resigned after widespread protests against the appointment of Hamal as a minister in the ‘quota’ of Chief Justice Cholendra Shamsher Jabra in the cabin.
