KATHMANDU: The National Assembly is convening today (Wednesday) at 1:15 p.m. at the Parliament Building in New Baneshwor.

The meeting is scheduled to resume discussions on the principles and priorities of the Appropriation Bill for the fiscal year 2082-083, excluding the tax proposal.

The session will also include a proposal to send the Constitutional Council (Works, Duties, Powers, and Procedures) (First Amendment) Bill, 2079 to the Legislative Management Committee for detailed, clause-by-clause review.

This proposal was forwarded to Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli from the House of Representatives.
