National Assembly to discuss Cinema Bill, LDC graduation report today

KATHMANDU: A meeting of the National Assembly is being held today at 1:15 PM at the Federal Parliament Building in New Baneshwor.

During the session, Minister for Communications and Information Technology Prithvi Subba Gurung will present a proposal to forward the Cinema Bill, 2081 to the Legislative Management Committee for detailed clause-wise deliberation.

Likewise, Kamala Panta, Chairperson of the Development, Economic Affairs and Good Governance Committee, will table a proposal to initiate discussions on the ‘Study Report on Nepal’s Graduation from a Least Developed Country to a Developing Country, 2081.’

Panta will also brief the Assembly on recent correspondences from the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers regarding the delegation of responsibilities among ministers.

Earlier this morning, the Legislative Management Committee convened at 10:30 AM and held clause-wise discussions on the ‘National Forensic Science Laboratory (Establishment and Operation) Bill, 2081.’
