KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress (NC) has decided to nominate party President Gagan Thapa as its candidate for the Prime Minister’s post in the upcoming House of Representatives election.

The decision was made during a meeting of the party’s Central Work Execution Committee held today.

Following the meeting, Vice President Bishwa Prakash Sharma confirmed that party President Thapa will be officially presented as the party’s candidate for the Prime Minister’s post.
