KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has called a meeting of party office-bearers today morning at 9 AM at his residence in Budhanilkantha.

According to the party office chief secretary Krishna Prasad Paudel, the meeting will include current office-bearers, former officials, as well as several ministers from the party who are currently serving in the government.

The meeting is expected to focus on key issues including internal party affairs, coordination with coalition partner CPN-UML, and a review of ministers representing the party in the government. The recent political developments will also be discussed.

Dissatisfaction has been growing within the party over the government’s proposed bills and Prime Minister KP Oli’s style of governance.

Meanwhile, the disciplinary commission’s actions have also frustrated dissenting factions within the party.
