KATHMANDU: The election schedule for the Nepali Congress Special General Convention has been revised once again. The party’s Central Election Committee amended the election timetable currently being implemented at Bhrikutimandap.

According to the revised schedule, the publication of the list of candidates has been postponed to 4:00 pm. Earlier, voting was scheduled to take place at 1:00 pm. The time for filing claims and objections against candidates has been rescheduled to 4:30 pm, while the examination of such claims and objections will now take place at 5:00 pm.

Following the review of claims and objections, the revised candidate list will be published at 5:05 pm. The deadline for withdrawal of candidacies has been set for 5:35 pm, while the final list of candidates will be published at 6:00 pm. Voting has been scheduled from 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm.

Election Committee Coordinator Sitaram KC confirmed the revised timetable.
