KATHMANDU: Today’s events under the Special General Convention of the Nepali Congress have been postponed.

The events were postponed following the death of former minister and former central member of the Nepali Congress, Homanath Dahal. Dahal passed away last night at the age of 84.

The Special General Convention Supporters had planned to organize a rally at Bhrikuti Mandap and various other programs today.

Manoj Mani Acharya, Coordinator of the Second Special General Convention Management Secretariat, shared that all programs scheduled for today have been postponed to mourn the demise of Dahal.

Leader Acharya said that the programs scheduled for tomorrow remain unchanged. The Second Special General Convention is being inaugurated tomorrow at Bhrikuti Mandap.
