KATHMANDU: The government has stated that Nepal will always stand with everyone in the fight against terrorism.

On Thursday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs released a statement declaring Nepal’s unwavering support in combating terrorism.

The government also committed to not allowing its territory to be used against neighboring countries.

MoFA’s Statement:

“The Government of Nepal expressed deep concern over the escalating tensions between India and Pakistan following the terrorist attack on innocent tourists in Pahalgam, India, on April 22, 2025.

A Nepali citizen also lost their life in the tragic incident. During this sorrowful moment, Nepal stood in solidarity with India.

It is noteworthy that Nepal immediately condemned the brutal terrorist attack, aligning with its firm stance against all forms of terrorism.

Nepal remains committed to standing with all in the global fight against terrorism. Adhering to its principles, Nepal has pledged never to allow its land to be used against neighboring nations.

Nepal hopes for the de-escalation of tensions and reaffirms its commitment to sustainable peace and stability in the region.”
