KATHMANDU: The ruling Nepali Congress convened a meeting of its office bearers on Monday, amid mounting demands within the party for Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak to step down.
The meeting commenced at 9:30 am at President Sher Bahadur Deuba’s residence in Budhanilkantha, according to a party leader. Attendees include current and former office bearers of the party.
